About the PositionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join a rapidly growing and dynamic team. Candidates can be based in Brisbane, QLD. Key Responsibilities:Carry out all civil engineering work as directed; including investigations, preparation of designs, reports, calculations, contract documents, inspections, and other engineering consultancy deliverables required by project briefs, to the required technical and professional standards.Endeavour to broaden PTG's client base in the field of civil engineering. This may involve sourcing new work, preparation of offers of service and networking and collaborating with other consultants and suppliers as necessary.Contribute to work-winning through delivery of excellent services to our clients and through active business development and proposal writing.Maintain a commercial focus by using efficient approaches to project delivery and technical analysis.Mentor others within your area of expertise.Share knowledge through participation in industry events and/or in-house training sessions.Support the dissemination of knowledge and use of best practice across the business.About You:Appropriate tertiary qualifications in structures/civil with approximately 5-7 years relevant experience.RPEQ/CPEng would be highly considered, or working towards attaining RPEQ and CPEng Qualification.Strong experience in earthworks and drainage design for residential and commercial developments.Strong knowledge, understanding and application of technical concepts, processes and activities.Strong quality focus, with a commitment to continuous improvement.Ability to lead designers and drafters to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Thorough knowledge of the application of relevant standards and the minimisation of project risk.Self-directed and motivated to succeed with minimal oversight.Demonstrated intermediate skills in relevant software programs.Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.Fosters trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders for long-term mutual benefits.Passionate and committed to achieving outcomes for self and PTG.Focused on continual learning.Why Join Us?Be part of something amazing and join us on our growth journey!Formal graduate development program with ongoing learning & development focused on your career ambitions.Flexible working opportunities.We foster a culture where our people are encouraged to seek opportunities to grow and achieve their career aspirations.Your application will include the following questions:
