About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of a Finance Officer to join our esteemed client's team based in Karratha or Port Hedland. This position is Monday to Friday, full time or flexible working hours!
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Enter and code invoices, matching them with purchase orders.
* Process payments and send remittances, handling any discrepancies.
* Prepare and issue invoices for port and vessel charges, ensuring timely payments.
* Reconcile creditor statements and manage daily payment receipts.
* Assist staff with purchase order queries and provide training.
* Ensure compliance with legal and ISO requirements; prepare overdue reports.
* Support a safe and inclusive workplace, helping team members as needed.
Skills and Experience:
* Certificate III in Accounts Administration or relevant qualification.
* Experience in accounts practices, processes, and systems.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in computing and ability to maintain confidentiality.
