Management - Universities (Education & Training)Salary Package: From $186,856 per annum (HEW 10, Band 2), plus 17% employer's superannuationAppointment Type: Full-time, continuingLocation: Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus, Dharug land, North RydeThe RoleMacquarie University is recruiting for a new Director Resources and Discovery to drive high-level strategic and operational leadership of the University Library, with specific responsibility for planning collections, library systems and research publication services supporting the University's education and research aspirations.Reporting to the University Librarian, you will work with colleagues as part of the Library's management team to ensure effective, cohesive and inclusive leadership of the library. You will lead, develop and mentor a large team of professional staff within the library, role modelling and supporting the University and Library values.You will contribute to business and financial planning to deliver an innovative, client-focussed and sustainable service that aligns with the library's strategic direction and service model.
