Job Title: Head of Scripted, Production ANZ Location: Sydney Office (Mc Mahons Point) Reporting to: General Manager and Creative Director, Production ANZ Right to work: Candidates must have full Australian working rights Job Purpose: Develop a slate of scripted content from conception to pitching and commissioning with both local and global appeal.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Identify original IP and key creatives for partnerships to create, develop and produce owned or co-owned original IP to sell across the ANZ/international market.Work with the team to develop creative ideas and materials and package all ideas with talent and articulate pitch strategies.Leverage existing and new relationships internally and in the creative community to support content development and business goals.Build and oversee series development budgets and schedules.Work closely with internal teams, keeping all relevant development collateral up to date, properly distributed and consistent.Stay up to date and relevant on current market trends and buyer needs, identifying new opportunities, as well as cross-referencing potential opportunities for relationships based on overall deals at studios for talent that may work in tandem with our development.Position Requirements A track record and experience in scripted development that has seen concepts through to commissioning.A minimum of 10 years' experience in scripted television production at a production company, network or streamer, credits as a commissioner or Executive Producer on at least one drama series.A strong understanding of the domestic and international marketplace, including knowledge of commercial and public broadcasters, OTT media landscape, and an awareness of trends in both linear and streaming content platforms.Experienced in pitching and packaging projects.Demonstrated knowledge of the scripted development/production processes.Ability to drive and lead a development in generating projects.Demonstrated network of current contacts across commissioners, distributors and financiers.Strong existing relationships in the creative community with writers, producers, talent, agents etc.Demonstrated commitment to creating content that champions diversity.Awareness of the BBC's editorial values.Please click the Apply button to share your CV along with a cover letter.Diversity and inclusion matter to you, as it does to us.We value and respect every employee's unique contribution, enabling them to thrive and achieve their full potential.We want to attract the broadest range of people because the more diverse our workforce, the better able we are to elevate the voices and truths of modern life to resonate with our diverse audiences.#J-18808-Ljbffr
