The Marketing & Communications Manager for the Northern Territory Cluster is responsible for the development of the marketing plan and activities to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions to all relevant target markets and address all 4 hotels' business needs. This will include advertising, production, promotion, publicity, e-commerce and social media activities to drive long and short term revenue in the hotel, Groups, Conferences & Events.What will I be doing?As Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:To act as a pro-active support function for all revenue generating departments of the hotel by providing marketing strategy, materials and resources as requiredWork with the Commercial Director to ensure maximization of all campaigns and activities including online demand generationSupport the sales and business development teams with development of sales collateral, presentations, sales blitz initiatives and corporate giftsDevelop and maintain successful relationships and with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of the marketing functionWork actively to develop a profile in the hospitality and broader Marketing community in the Northern Territory to be seen as a key marketing identityWork with the Human Resources department with the rollout of any internal communications and CSR programs.Media liaison and relationship management including writing and distribution of press releasesManage the hotel’s social media channels including internal communications and award submissions for Hotel and key talentWork with regional e-commerce to ensure effective natural search and sponsored search marketing, co-ordinate hotel email marketing campaigns & monitor e-commerce activities of our Hotels and competitor hotelsUpdate and maintain all brand websites, online travel agents, and third-party websites to ensure the content is up to date, engaging and appealingIdentify companies that will fit the Hilton brand and represent a strategic partnership / sponsorship opportunity for the hotelsSupport the Commercial Team and undertake any other duties as directed by the Commercial Director and General ManagersDevelop and maintain the annual marketing plan across the four properties in the Northern TerritoryImplement a proactive, integrated communications strategy that supports business objectivesArrange hotel photography and videography in line with Hilton’s global photography standardsOrganise hotel collateral in-line with Hilton’s global brand guidelinesDevelopment of style guides for those outlets whose identity falls outside the Hilton Brand Identity GuidelinesEnsure hotels compliance in using regional accredited suppliers including; designers, printers, photographers and liaison with Regional Marketing to ensure all accredited agencies receive latest corporate marketing guidelinesCreate, maintain and implement an effective PR communications planOrganise media familiarisation and blogger experiences with a view of securing positive media and social coverageWhat are we looking for?A dynamic and creative Marketing and Communications Manager.To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:Educated to college level or equivalent in work experienceExperience in a similar marketing roleProven experience of supporting, planning and managing project work to tight deadlinesExperience of the main functions of marketing and leading projectsDemonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels of managementProven experience of working to and understanding key marketing and e-commerce plans and strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
