About the Role
The Bialik College Parents' Association (BCPA) Community Engagement Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive BCPA strategy (alongside the President when there is one) while collaborating with the Foundation and Communications teams to support community engagement initiatives and events.
Responsibilities
BCPA Engagement
* Assist in setting the strategic direction for the BCPA and facilitating events and activities (working closely with the President when there is one)
* Adapt to take direction when a President is present or proactively lead provision in their absence
* Develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure the long-term success of the BCPA
* Provide event management support for all Parents' Association events
* Deliver administrative and general support to the BCPA
* Promote and communicate BCPA events as required
* Foster strong relationships with the BCPA President and the broader parent community
* Lead key BCPA events in the absence of a President
* Build rapport and engage with relevant staff to strengthen community involvement.
Community Engagement General
* Assist in copywriting and drafting communications for community engagement, marketing, and general communications.
* Provide support for Community Engagement events as needed.
* Assist with photography and video shoots to enhance engagement efforts.
