The Role
We seek commercially savvy professionals to develop customer relationships and lead sales teams in achieving revenue targets for the Sales Area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cultivating multilevel customer relationships to drive market growth for Sandvik's Surface Drills in Western Australia, Mining.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute medium to long-term strategies for Surface Drills.
* Collaborate with Account Managers to advance Surface Drills business.
* Foster training and knowledge transfer of Sandvik Surface Drills among Sales, Service, Parts, and Logistics personnel.
* Support infrastructure development necessary for the Surface Drills fleet.
* Monitor financial performance and contribute to growing revenue through sales initiatives.
* Assist in developing and managing sales budgets.
* Provide audit and consulting services at client sites to identify improvement opportunities.
* Promote product applications from conceptualization to operational delivery.
* Conduct product trials, compile reports, and share findings with stakeholders.
* Lead a team of Sales Professionals to expand the Surface Drills business in Western Australia.
* Achieve revenue targets through direct customer management and high-performing sales teams.
* Manage expenses within budget for the sales team.
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and achieve financial objectives through effective resource allocation.
* Analyze technical issues with Australian-supplied equipment and prepare quotations for rectification.
* Distribute bulletins and alerts for all Sales Area Australia products.
Your Profile
We seek an independent, efficient, adaptable, proactive, and astute individual with relevant trade qualifications or degree experience in Surface sales or business development roles. A deep understanding of customer business processes, particularly in technical product knowledge of Surface drilling (5+ years' experience), is advantageous.
Candidates should possess excellent Relationship Development and Sales negotiation skills, as well as strong communication, presentation, and leadership abilities. Experience working in team environments, advanced computer skills, and ability to manage time effectively are essential.
The ideal candidate must be willing to travel domestically and internationally, possess a valid C-class driver's license, and have the right to live and work in Australia.
