The Role
The Application Specialist is a permanent, full-time role with hybrid work flexibility from our North Sydney HQ. The successful candidate will predominantly focus on general application support for customers, including both onsite and remote training, with occasional domestic and international travel as required. They will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of all training materials, including user guides and online training programs.
Job Description
The Role in Practice
Being the Application Specialist and champion for the RippleDown product, you will provide exceptional client relationship management, and product enhancement and support with your subject matter expertise. You will also provide general support for Research & Development and Sales & Marketing within Beamtree. This will include:
* General application support for existing customer base using the RippleDown product
* Regular onsite visits and communication with customers to resolve potential issues, provide opportunity for improvements, and identify additional uses of RippleDown
* Development and maintenance of training content for both customers and Beamtree employees, including conducting training on new features
* Preparation and delivery of bi-annual performance reports for clients
* Identifying areas of opportunity for RippleDown
* Generating user accounts as required and creating rules based on customer needs
* Providing support and options for rules building on the application, and modifying rules as required
* Providing level 1 support such as creating tickets, and level 2 support such as escalating/closing tickets
* Configuring RippleDown server for offline analysis and proof of concept (POC)
* Testing and validating new versions of RippleDown
* Providing feedback on new software releases (web-based apps)
* Creating verifications and providing support for verifications for developers
* Creating SOPs for new releases
* Providing possible workflow solutions for both RippleDown and LIS
* Executing all activities in accordance with the Quality Management System
Desired Skills and Experience
Who Are You?
To be successful in this role, you have:
* Healthcare industry experience, preferably within the pathology laboratory sector
* Tertiary qualifications within Science is preferable
* Microbiology experience is advantageous
* Global experience is advantageous
* Excellent people skills and the ability to form good client relationships
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Training experience is highly desirable
