This senior role is critical to supporting our complex projects, ensuring successful delivery and oversight of substation construction. We are open to candidates with diverse backgrounds, including those from outside the power industry, as long as they have a proven track record of managing complex projects within a similar field.As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for running multiple projects, providing guidance to project managers, and ensuring successful project delivery. You'll act as a mentor to a small team and manage projects that range from $5 million to $50 million, with occasional projects up to $100 million.Responsibilities:Deliver complex projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million (occasional larger projects up to $100 million).Manage civil, electrical, and structural components of projects, ensuring smooth integration and delivery.Lead, mentor, and manage multiple project teams, providing leadership and guidance.Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manage risk in high-stakes project environments.Align project strategies with the company's net zero by 2050 goals.About You:Proven experience in managing complex projects (preferably $5-50 million), with experience in brownfield or substation projects highly desirable.Strong background in construction contracting, preferably from industries like power, water treatment, or road construction.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and manage teams of various sizes.Candidates with backgrounds in other industries with similar complex project management (e.g., water treatment, oil rigs) will also be considered.Degree qualified in a relevant field.We are a champion of equal opportunity employment and have committed to targets for gender equity and first nations representation in our workforce.
