About the RoleAs a National Franchise Relationship Manager, you are to grow and retain the ANZ relationship with select franchise brands and become the subject matter expert within the food and beverage – QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry segment with the focus of increasing direct deal flow to Commercial frontline, whilst maintaining appropriate compliance and review of the brands on the ANZ Preferred Panel.

Role Type: Permanent, Full-timeRole Location:242 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000 What will your day look like?As a National Franchise Relationship Manager, you will be accountable for:
Onboarding defined franchise brands in line with the industry segment and retaining defined existing brands.Becoming the subject matter expert across the defined industries and providing up to date brand information and intel to frontline and risk stakeholders.Managing the defined franchise brand relationships appropriately through a robust calling and relationship management programme.Direct origination of deals across the defined brands, initial assessment of opportunities and referral of quality deals to relevant frontline BU, per set KPIs.Managing and updating annual profile documents for each brand including training and delivery of relevant information to frontline bankers and risk stakeholders.Effectively sourcing and assessing relevant collateral documentation, market intel and internal portfolio metrics to ensure reviews and up to date performance of defined brands are appropriately managed and communicated to key stakeholders across the Bank.Attending and promoting the ANZ Commercial Franchise offering at relevant industry forums and events.Actively managing deal activity pipeline for weekly and monthly reporting and discussion.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
A sound understanding of the Australian franchise sector.Strong experience in risk and credit assessment including cashflow lending; understanding in managing portfolio risk.Strong communication and negotiation skills.A self-starter; highly motivated with a focus on deal origination against set targets and deliverables.Proficient understanding and use of IKnow and Microsoft Excel.General understanding of Retail and Wholesale credit policies.Good stakeholder management and engagement, and an ability to lead through influencing.Understanding of ANZ products across Transaction Banking, merchants would be beneficial.Understanding of the ANZ Broker proposition and engagement would be highly regarded.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
