About the Role
Civeo Australia are looking for experienced Assistant Village Managers to join the leadership team at some of our various sites in Western Australia. This is a hands-on management role where you’ll spend time in the field directly with your teams and is well positioned for career growth to Village manager and beyond. These roles are suited to experienced FIFO Department supervisors and current AVM's looking for their next challenge!
About You
As an experienced people manager, you know how to prioritise effectively and can handle multiple competing requirements. You will be an excellent communicator who can speak with ease to a diverse group of clients, visitors and guests.
You will have experience in managing profit and loss and are familiar with navigating the scope of a service contract. In addition, you’re a safety champion with an in-depth understanding of remote site safety standards, especially HACCP. You can delegate effectively, lead by example and drive performance to achieve outcomes for our clients.

Experience & Qualifications
9. 1-2 years of FIFO experience as an AVM or a highly experienced Department Team Leader from a Large 1000+ room site looking for the next step
10. Outstanding leadership experience with the ability to build a strong, stable team
11. Strong understanding of Profit and Loss, budgeting, costs controls and rostering
12. Must possess a valid manual driver’s license
13. Must possess or willing to obtain a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate / WA Approved Manager’s license
14. Currently have or willing to obtain a clear National Police Clearance under 6 months old
15. Able to pass a medical and drug screen
16. Knowledge of rostering & time and attendance is essential
17. Able to train and develop your own team onsite
Skills:
18. Strong computer literacy, able to pick up new systems quickly
19. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office
20. Exceptional time management and organizational skills
21. Comfortable with data and regular reporting
22. Excellent attention to detail across reporting and service delivery
23. Highly developed leadership skills and the ability to develop a high performing team with a culture focused on proactive customer service
24. Passionate about safety and providing an enjoyable working environment for all employees.
25. Any experience with Oracle/JDE technology will be highly regarded - Purchase Orders and reconciliation
