About the Role We are seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Electrical Maintenance Supervisor based within our Operations Services (OS) Maintenance team located within the Pilbara, Western Australia.
Reporting directly to the OS Maintenance Superintendent, this role is responsible for the planning, scheduling and resourcing of electrical maintenance across our inland mine sites.
Your duties will include: Foster positive & productive working relationships and team cultureSet and maintain clear safety standards within the leadership teamLead safety investigations and risk assessmentsPlanning, scheduling and resourcing maintenanceBuild capability through coaching, mentoring and provide technical advice and support OS maintenance supervisorsLead and support continuous improvement opportunitiesCoordination of maintenance strategies across multiple key customer stakeholdersTimely data collation, analysis and sharing of key work management metrics.About You The successful candidate will possess the following:
Electrical trade or Engineering qualificationsStrong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through using your influenceThe ability to successfully lead and work within a team environment and build effective working relationshipsExperience or a fast learner with work management software tools (e.g. 1SAP)Extensive experience in fixed plant electrical maintenanceExperience in detailed scoping and maintenance planning for multi-disciplined workgroupsExperience in a shutdown & outage environment would be advantageousDemonstrated computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)About Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
