Our client, a privately owned leader in Food Processing, has presented a career-enhancing opening for Full-Time Day-Shift Maintenance Electrician at their Broadmeadows, VIC further processing facility.
Due to industry demand, the business is adding to their 1500+ employees during this growth phase.
Hourly Rate: $51.82 + super
Shift: 5am - 1pm, Monday to Friday/Tuesday to Saturday
Overtime: Available for those interested - x2.0 on Sundays
Workday: 8-hour shifts, 38-hour week
Some weekend work required and overtime available for industry award. Key ResponsibilitiesOrganise and maintain the day-to-day running of the site's production lines, associated plant/equipment and fixed property.Responsible for keeping the equipment performing to its required production rate, exceeding these rates where possible.Responsible for maintaining a preventative maintenance program in relation to the production line to ensure there are minimal unplanned stoppages and breakdowns.Ideal CandidateHolds a current electrical license and has a good understanding of fault finding and repair on production machinery.Previous experience in an FMCG environment with an understanding of good manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements.Motor control, basic PLC and VSD experience.Experience with high-speed packing machines, conveyors, sensors, packers, etc.Attitude of continuous learning and communicates positive energy to the team.BenefitsOpportunity and encouragement to grow into leadership roles especially in Capital Projects with Automation development.Tools provided.Discount on company products.Collaborative and team-driven culture.Supportive leaders who believe in autonomy and growth.Only candidates with full working rights in Australia can be considered.
