Alexandrina Council is seeking a highly experienced, innovative and dynamic Team Leader Community Activation to join our team in a permanent position. You will be responsible for the management, operations and activation of a number of Council arts, visitor and recreation facilities and services. This is a newly created and unique role that will lead a large team of permanent and casual staff and the programming, activation and contract management of a number of significant Council venues.

You will be our ideal person, if you have:
* Coaching and leading high performing teams, including experience in leading teams through transformational change.
* Operational management of large and busy front-line public facilities – e.g. recreation and aquatic facilities, visitor information centres, art precincts.
* Contract and property management.
* Financial management, including preparing and monitoring budgets.
* Providing exceptional customer service and accessibility to public facilities and services.
This role provides a fantastic variety across a diverse range of functions, and as such, we are not looking for a specialist in all these areas, but rather someone who has held a key responsibility for at least one of these functions and thrives on learning new skills and broadening your own experience. Experience in facility management would be a distinct advantage, along with strong communication skills and confident engagement abilities across a very diverse range of stakeholders.
You will require a relevant tertiary qualification in business, marketing or venue management and/or a minimum of five years working experience in facility, business or property management.
