About This Opportunity
We are seeking casual positions for the UQ Calling Crew, as part of Advancement's Telephone Engagement Campaign. The campaign will run from our vibrant St Lucia Campus.
Key Responsibilities
* Contact UQ Alumni via telephone to discuss their experiences and share updates about the University.
* Talk about your own experience at UQ.
* Share news and updates about the University.
* Ask for charitable donations to support various projects across the University.
* Steward donors and build long-term relationships with them.
* Perform administrative duties as required.
Hours of Operation
The telephone campaign operates Monday to Thursday from 5pm-8pm and Saturday from 10am-5pm (subject to change with notice).
About Advancement
Advancement leads activities and services that raise the profile of UQ with alumni, industry partners, and current and prospective donors. We aim to position UQ as a destination for philanthropy, ensuring future generations have access to an education at a top-ranked University.
Annual Giving Program
The Annual Giving program solicits donations from alumni, staff, and the wider community to support initiatives such as scholarships, research, and teaching programs at UQ. The UQ Calling Crew is an integral part of the Annual Giving team, connecting with alumni and donors to engage and fundraise for support.
About You
We are looking for current UQ students, particularly scholarship recipients who are energetic, have a positive attitude, and are great communicators. Call centre experience is desirable but full training will be provided.
