The Manager, Quality and Safety, under direction, is responsible for: the oversight and leadership of Portland District Health's operational quality and safety systems in line with: Accreditation standards that apply to Portland District Health Victorian Government Clinical Governance Framework and other relevant standards and frameworks Partnering in healthcare framework Design and continuation of quality and safety systems organisation-wide Oversight and examination of clinical events including the undertaking of event reviews as required Provision of advice to the Director on quality and safety matters About you: Registerable qualifications by Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) OR tertiary qualification in health administration, business administration or public policy – either preferred To have a profound knowledge of rural healthcare and its challenges At least three years' experience in public health quality and safety or experience in related field Previous recent experience involved with organisation-wide accreditation activities Understanding of healthcare legislative compliance High level analytical and writing skills to enable the production of effective evidence based reports, policies, data, quality and safety plans Please click here to view Position Description.
