Job Category: Community Services and Development Job Description About the Role As a Recovery Support Worker in our NDIS Service, you will work as part of a team to deliver high quality and efficient services by providing person centred support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, identify and draw upon their existing support networks on their road to recovery; whether that be from coexisting trauma, disability, or complex unmet needs. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Support plan activities are delivered to facilitate choice and control by the individual, and to achieve their NDIS goals. Family members, carers, friends, other natural supports, and other agencies are included where possible and with the consent of the participant. Critical incidents and other risk incidents are dealt with according to the Organisation's Policies and Procedures and funding body requirements. The recovery support model is used to assist individual to meet their goals. Supports are provided within the NDIS guidelines. The successful candidate will be required to meet with clients across Perth. This role is part-time offering 120 hours over 4 weeks until May 2025. We also have some casual positions available. Working hours are generally between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. You will be required to use your vehicle to travel to clients/participants & will be reimbursed kilometres between clients and travel between clients will usually be up to 30 minutes, with occasional exceptions. Desired Skills and Experience About you To be considered for this role, you must have the following: Qualification in Human Services (e.g. Mental Health, Community Services, Psychology, Counselling) Previous experience working as a Recovery Support Worker in an outreach setting is desirable A current National Police Clearance (no older than 6 months). A valid First Aid Certificate A current WA driver's license Flexible availability and willingness to use own vehicle A valid NDIS screen check.
