ABOUT THE ROLE
An excellent opportunity as a Senior Account Manager to join our client's business and lead a team of professionals across their Health Sector. You will provide direction, motivation, communication, and strategy to your team and nominated accounts. Ensuring sales targets, contract compliance and divisional objectives, through successful implementation of effective sales, project strategy and establishment/maintenance of appropriate sales performance.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Achieving and exceeding sales budgets
2. Maintaining account service level agreements
3. Managing and directing all activities in the day-to-day operations of respective customer group
4. Pricing strategy, analysis & negotiation across customer groups
5. Overseeing Accounts, Customer Communication, Masterfile, Entitlement Management
6. Preparing sales budgets, monitoring performance to date, and amending sales forecasts as required
7. Overseeing deliveries in full and on time, backorders and despatch schedules
8. Managing contractual KPIs/Reporting
9. Leading teams driving company's visions, values, and strategic objectives
10. Ensuring that teams are exposed to training opportunities and to suppliers to improve their capabilities.
11. Facilitating relationship building across functional teams
12. Personal development plan processing, including regular one on ones
13. Maintaining price rises, annually and adhering to contractual terms
14. Implementing strategies to ensure profitability.
15. Managing/delivering client compliance to contract/database
16. Developing new business pipelines with allocated clients and prioritising leads
17. Preparing & implementing activity designed to increase sales and/or market share - organic growth & promotional activity.
18. Leading with preparation of tenders with the BD team
19. Managing contractual KPIs/Reporting
20. Overseeing new/current contract implementation/project plan management
21. Accurate sales and margin forecasting
ABOUT YOU
You will be highly commercial and possess strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. Along with your business acumen, you will have:
22. Minimum 5 years in similar role
23. Extensive and successful experience in sales management or major accounts management
24. Business to Business or Business to Government selling and servicing.
25. Experience in leading, motivating, coaching and performance managing a team
26. Knowledge of Workplace Occupational Health and Safety issues
27. Proficient Computer skills in different IT applications incl MS Office Applications
28. Experience in the budgeting process and with forecasting
29. Being able to work effectively in a high pressured fast paced environment with multiple competing demands.

31. Presentation and interpersonal skills
32. Excellent oral / written comms skills
