Position Overview:
As the IT Security Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance on security architecture, Essential Eight strategies, cloud security settings, and adherence to the Information Security Manual (ISM) controls.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain ICT security policies, plans, and training.
• Provide expert security advice for new tech solutions.
• Create system authorization docs and security risk assessments.
• Assist in investigations, audits, and innovative solutions.
• Enhance disaster recovery and continuity plans.
• Monitor and bolster network security.
Demonstrated requirements:
• Configuring and deploying technology solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISM, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
• Working with Azure/AWS cloud, particularly from a security perspective.
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
