Purpose of the Role BGIS is seeking an experienced and initiative-taking Account Manager to lead and support our team to achieve all account deliverables while maximising client satisfaction and asset performance. As a leader, you will oversee the delivery of contractual obligations, ensure KPIs are met, and build long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will be committed to long-term success, delivering results, and managing teams effectively. Key Responsibilities Maximise asset performance and drive growth targets, ensuring a continuous focus on enhancing occupancy and asset yield. Oversee the achievement of contract KPIs and Critical Success Factors (CSFs), ensuring all team members understand and meet these goals. Monitor and track the performance of all deliverables within each service area, ensuring consistency and quality in execution. Manage the financial success of the contract, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and invoicing, while meeting the yearly profit targets and contractual deliverables. Lead and manage a diverse account team of 8-9 members, focusing on driving asset performance, compliance, and delivering high-quality service across all areas. Provide active leadership and guidance to the BGIS contract team, ensuring clear communication and accountability across all levels. Ensure full compliance with contract terms, BGIS systems, and HSEQ policies, maintaining high standards and meeting all relevant requirements. Foster a positive team environment by promoting BGIS values, encouraging collaboration, and holding team members accountable for results. Education, Experience, and Skills Essential: Proven leadership experience in managing multi-functional teams and navigating complex stakeholder relationships across various service areas, including Property, Facilities, Project, and Financial Management. Strong business acumen with expertise in planning, financial management, contract negotiation, and building and maintaining effective client and contractor relationships. Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee both internal teams and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality service delivery and performance. Experience working within corporate real estate environments, with a focus on compliance, asset management, and facilities maintenance. Ability to respond to dynamic challenges with a flexible, process-driven approach, and a commitment to finding innovative solutions. Senior-level experience in account management, with a proven history of successfully navigating competing priorities and delivering on contract expectations. Driver Licence and reliable personal transport (on-site parking available). Desirable: Advanced knowledge and experience in business planning, financial management, and compliance with current OH&S, QA, and environmental legislation. Senior-level experience in a complex industry, with expertise in QA, OH&S, and environmental systems and regulations. Formal tertiary qualifications such as a relevant bachelor's degree, MBA or masters in Property, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline. Why Join BGIS?
