What’s the role? Over 8 million Australians turn to News Corps’ stable of trusted news and lifestyle brands each year for recommendations on the best deals and products to buy. This role exists to manage and scale the monetisation of ecommerce content via partnerships. The Senior Partnerships Manager will play a crucial role in the negotiation of commercial terms and securing flat fee partnerships on behalf of publications including news.com.au, Taste, Vogue, Escape, BodySoul and more. Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, this role will foster relationships with our key retail and brand partners, optimise CPAs to ensure our content is meeting an earnings-per-click benchmark and work closely with the sales team to take flat fee opportunities to News Corp’s stable of clients. Key Responsibilities: Lead partnership discussions with tier one ecommerce partners and create and launch initiatives that are market-leading and foster growth for both parties Foster long-term relationships with News Corp’s key retailer and brand partners and manage the negotiation of commission rate and commercial agreements Oversee the go-to-market of eCommerce flat fee packages, in collaboration with the Partnerships Manager Achieve shared revenue targets in close collaboration with the ecommerce commercial team Meet flat fee partnership growth targets, in close collaboration with the Partnerships Manager Lead a ‘test and learn’ program of work to continue to evolve our stable of key affiliate partners Collaborate with affiliate networks including Partnerize, Impact, and subnetwork Skimlinks to optimise affiliate performance Distill affiliate data into clear, actionable insights to guide our editorial team, and report on merchant- and site-level performance as needed Contribute to a team culture that is innovative, inquisitive and collaborative Who are you? Track record of managing high-growth partnerships, whether that be at an agency, affiliate network or publisher.
