Role Purpose:
You will be responsible for supporting and executing the on-site retail and events for Australia and New Zealand, driving sales, profit, growth, standards, and first-class customer service by inspiring and leading your teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with counterparts to plan and deliver world-class on-site retail operations.
2. Collaborate with key head office functions (Logistics, IT, Finance, Merchandising) to ensure appropriate support for your onsite operations.
3. Work with supporting contractors to deliver on budget, on time, every time.
4. Work with the warehouse and merchandising teams to ensure effective delivery schedules.
5. Provide best practices to ensure stockrooms and shops are managed efficiently.
6. Drive KPIs including conversion and AOV.
7. Maximize sales through effective management of your onsite teams.
8. Deliver first-class visual merchandising in your store and consistently do so during events.
9. This is a hands-on role, and the manager will have the opportunity to oversee and participate in some of the physical build pre-and post-event.
10. The opportunity to get involved with major international events within Fanatics, not just Football.
The job duties list is not exclusive nor exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope/level of the role.
You may also be required from time to time to work additional hours including but not limited to providing support around events and hot markets. This may involve weekend and late-night working.
Knowledge and Experience:
1. 5+ years of experience working with major sport governing bodies or major sporting events retail programs, preferably within the football world.
2. Confident, bold, humble, well-presented & puts the team first.
3. Live and breathe the values and culture, but be able to grow and develop them.
4. Merchandising and layout experience.
5. Project management and store openings desirable.
6. Able to travel globally for prolonged periods, including weekends.
7. Responsible for retail execution for a number of retail units operating at the same time in different venues.
8. Builds and sustains excellent relationships with external promoters, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
9. Confident yet measured in offering feedback to colleagues and senior leadership teams.
10. Builds effective routines and processes that deliver consistency across our operations and units, and engages colleagues through the process.
