Our valued client is part of a global company who are currently seeking Maintenance Fitters for their Laverton North plant. Role Overview: Breakdown & Preventative Maintenance General Maintenance Projects & Improvements New Installations Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute preventative maintenance to enhance equipment reliability. Lead continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principles. Maintain, service, and troubleshoot plant machinery & equipment per regulatory and safety standards. Perform property/facilities maintenance duties. Conduct fabrication & machining works as needed. Perform routine checks on plant machinery & equipment (e.g., machine checks, tagging out of service equipment, 6S activities, fire drills). Skills and Licences: Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role (manufacturing/plastics industry preferred). Maintenance Fitter Trade Qualifications. Experience in manual handling and working at heights. High attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Uphold values of Safety, Teamwork, Excellence, Quality, and Integrity. Full working rights in Australia. Successful completion of a pre-employment aptitude and medical test. Highly Desired: Forklift licence, EWP licence, High risk work licence, Disconnect & reconnect licence.
