Bundaberg Regional Galleries is seeking a Senior Administration Officer to oversee and implement policies and procedures that ensure the seamless operation of our administrative systems.About YouCertificate III of Business Administration or equivalent, or demonstrated sound knowledge of and experience in office administration support activitiesAdministrative experience in an arts environment with specific and demonstrable experience in supervising the implementation and management of complex software and management systemsExperience in providing confidential, client-focused and high-quality administrative supportThe ability to cultivate a customer-focused culture and deliver exceptional visitor experiencesAbility to work flexible hours appropriate for the operation of the venueAbility to interact and communicate with all levels of staff, suppliers, public, and government bodiesDemonstrated self-management and organisational skills, including an ability to manage time, plan and organise own workA high level of written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to gather data from corporate information systems to ensure efficient and effective delivery of administrative services.Ability to provide timely and accurate financial and administrative support in an Arts-based environment.A genuine interest in visual artSound knowledge of Council's functions and procedures and/or Local Government experience desirable.Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) desirable.Please note that this role is primarily based at Childers Art Gallery; however, there will be a requirement to work at Bundaberg Regional Galleries as well.The Selection ProcessWe encourage candidates to advise us of any accommodations they may need to ensure a smooth and inclusive experience throughout our recruitment process and work environment.
