A BOUT THE JOB
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a dynamic leader to join our team as the Head of HR. In this pivotal role, you willpartner with the leadership team of our Dairy division and other key functions to drive growth and create a progressive workplace. Reporting to the HR Director for Oceania, you will focus on organization design, talent and culture actions, and leadership development. You will collaborate with global and local HR leads to deliver programs that amplify Danone’s purpose-driven, people-powered culture.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
1. Design and deliver people and performance plans, lead organization design, and provide industry insights to support Danone’s business strategy and growth targets
2. Lead and deliver impactful employee experiences, performance and talent cycle plans, succession planning, and support international mobility to ensure high engagement and purpose-driven outcomes.
3. Design and lead culture initiatives and internal communication campaigns
4. Lead and support leadership development initiatives and global functional capability programs within your business areas.
5. Serve as the point of contact for employment relations advice for the wider team
6. Collaborate with the HR team to enhance operational efficiencies.
7. Support Danone’s BCorp certification and other key projects, partnering with communications, regulatory, and legal teams
8. Provide coaching and mentoring to the HR team in Australia while leading and empowering a direct report
About You
ABOUT YOU
You possess a natural flair for connecting with people and can foster enduring relationships at all levels of engagement. With a proven track record in HR management, you excel in coaching and guiding teams to success. You are a strategic and analytical thinker adept at navigating uncertainty and solving complex problems by leveraging data.
Ideally you will have:
9. Prior experience in a similar role at a senior leadership level.
10. Proven track record in a comparable environment, ideally within FMCG.
11. Expertise in talent management, leadership and capability development.
12. Strong analytical and commercial mindset with a good understanding of P&L and business financials.
13. Demonstrated ability to shape inclusive, diverse, and high-performing teams.
14. Knowledge of current employment laws, regulations, and procedures governing compensation and benefits.
15. Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
16. Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with cross functional teams at various levels.
17. Experience using Success Factors and / or other HRIS platforms
18. Willingness to travel to Melbourne once a month
