Located in Maidstone, Victoria, they are known for their commitment to providing high-quality service and repairs. They take pride in delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and keeping vehicles running smoothly.As an Automotive Motor Mechanic, you will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and service. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a passion for vehicles, and a commitment to delivering reliable results.The annual salary for this position is $73,150 to $80,000 plus superannuation.Tasks include:Identifying and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in engines and vehicle components.Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and other parts for inspection and evaluation.Repairing or replacing worn-out or defective components and reassembling mechanical systems, consulting service manuals when necessary.Carrying out routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to ensure optimal vehicle performance and compliance with environmental regulations.Reassembling engines and components after completing repairs.Testing and adjusting mechanical parts post-repair to confirm proper operation.Using diagnostic tools and computer systems to assess and test vehicle components.May perform vehicle inspections and issue roadworthiness certificates or provide details on necessary repairs for certification.May attend to vehicle breakdowns and provide roadside assistance as required.Maintaining accurate records of services and repairs performed on vehicles.Ensuring that all repair work is done safely and in accordance with industry standards.Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.Qualifications:Must hold a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.Should have at least more than three (3) years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Motor Mechanic.Only Australian citizens and those with Permanent Resident status may apply.
