This position is open to both Australian residents and international applicants who possess a qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Position Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist you will play a pivotal role in helping clients develop, recover, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, client-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
* Develop individualised treatment plans and goals tailored to each client’s needs.
* Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor progress.
* Educate clients and their families about strategies and techniques to support independence and improve quality of life.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
* Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
* Current registration with AHPRA or eligible to apply (completed stage 1 desktop assessment)
* English exam.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy
