Our Senior Sous Chef plays an important role in bringing this experience to life across the hotel’s award-winning dining offerings including Peppina Restaurant.
Bringing your qualifications and experience, as Senior Sous Chef at The Tasman, your passion for creating delicious food with some of the world’s finest produce inspires the team and enhances our guests’ experience. Your culinary talents will be on display, while assisting in leading the team and managing all food-related functions.

You have a demonstrated ability to:
* Build strong relationships with producers and source quality produce
* Lead by example, inspire and motivate your team
* Take initiative and make sound business decisions
* Apply current knowledge of culinary trends and industry best practices
Responsibilities:
* Assist in leading Kitchen operations to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
* Set and maintain goals for the Culinary function and activities
* Ensure Culinary standards and responsibilities are met
* Ensure exceptional customer service
* Oversee all food preparation areas, including banquets, room service, restaurants and bars
* Oversee support areas including stewarding and purchasing
* Guide and develop a team, including direct reports.
The Senior Sous Chef will need to be available to work late nights and weekends as required. Sponsorship of a working visa may be considered for the right candidate.
