Veolia seeks an experienced Contract Manager to lead waste operations for our large mining client in South Australia. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient service delivery while standardizing processes and enhancing capabilities. This role focuses on maximising profitability through revenue growth, cost optimization, and effective resource management. What's on offer Leadership role with a global leader in ecological transformation Competitive salary including car & fuel allowance Exciting, complex role that will keep you challenged and engaged Career progression with on-going learning and development opportunities What you'll be responsible for Oversee operational performance across regional business units to ensure client satisfaction Manage financial aspects including P&L, budgeting, reporting, and forecasting for regional business units Take part in client project meetings and understand their systems of learning Complete onsite safety audits and field leadership with client Ensure compliance with plant and equipment maintenance procedures Supervise operational performance of subcontractors and joint venture partners Engage with senior client management to promote business capabilities and provide solutions Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, providing regular reports and updates Facilitate effective information flow between clients and operational personnel Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, peers, and stakeholders Collaborate, engage, and influence key parties to achieve business objectives Perform on-site visits to Olympic Dam - SA Regular site attendance to meet contract requirements What you'll need to be successful Minimum 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in a similar management role Qualification in Business Management or related field (highly desirable) Experience of having worked collaboratively in a team environment across commercial, operational and customer facing teams Managing deliverables in relation to health and safety, productivity, quality and schedule outcome Demonstrated ability to manage deliverables in health and safety, productivity, quality, and scheduling Track record of successful people leadership and fostering a positive workplace culture Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Adaptability and resilience in dynamic business environments Customer-centric approach with a focus on client satisfaction We are a Circle Back Initiative Employer and commit to respond to every applicant.
