The Opportunity
Aveo has an exciting opportunity for registered nurses or enrolled nurses to work in our retirement villages across southern and eastern suburbs of Brisbane. Our nurses thrive in an environment where resident choice comes first, building strong connections with independent living residents, liaising with fellow staff and resident family members, responding to emergencies and working with a dedicated team to help ensure clinical outcomes are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise and educate a team of Personal Care Attendants to deliver person-centred care at the highest possible standard
* Ensure all residents receive clinical care services in line with their care plans and be accountable for all medication management
* Maintain effective inter-personal relationships with residents, family members and fellow staff
* Liaise effectively with external service providers who provide care within the community
* Respond to first-aid emergencies
Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration and CPR certificate
* Current Police Check clearance
* Two COVID-19 vaccinations
* Minimum one year experience as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse
* Trustworthy, reliable and enjoy working in a team environment
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise
