What does the job look like?
Linfox Intermodal business unit is currently seeking an Operations Supervisor to join the team located in Blayney NSW.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the supervision of the fleet operations and allocations at our customer site in Oberon NSW.
This role will assist with the day-to-day operations within the depot encompassing planning and execution ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently while maximising resources.
We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity available working Monday to Friday, starting from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Key areas: Oversee the management of subcontractor vehicles.
Generate and maintain accurate weekly operational and financial KPIs.
Ensure compliance with WHS standards and manage related reporting.
Supervise scheduling, fleet utilisation, and load planning to optimise profitability.
Handle administrative duties and ensure compliance for both Blayney and Oberon locations.
Foster and maintain strong, productive relationships with the customer and key stakeholders.

This is an operational role suited for individuals with experience in the transport industry who excel in a fast-paced environment and are quick to think on their feet to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
You can demonstrate: Experience in an operational role.
Strong organisational, administrative, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of transport operations and vehicle allocations.
Familiarity with Australian transport regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to foster a safe working environment for yourself and others.
