Our team is growing, and we need you About the opportunity: Northern Honda has an opportunity for an individual with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction to join our team. To be successful in this role you will be up to date with the latest developments in the automotive industry and will be an expert on the models that we sell. You will deliver high-quality customer service, and you will have the ability to find the vehicle that aligns perfectly with your customer’s needs. You’ll make an impact by: Initiating and maintaining strong and valuable relationships with customers Determining customer requirements and advising on suitable vehicle models Showing vehicles and arranging test drives with customers Taking sale orders and preparing the contract of sale and any other relevant paperwork Maintaining a high level of product and industry knowledge What you’ll bring: A proven track record in selling new vehicles with previous experience essential Strong customer service experience Strong communication and negotiation skills both written and verbal Current Drivers License A genuine love for people and the sales process Current National Police Check An outstanding communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to nurture positive, long-term relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders A proactive problem solver with a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Well-presented, process-driven and highly organised, with the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced environment Experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential. What you do need is a solid work ethic, a positive attitude and a passion for achieving excellence. Additionally, this role will include overseeing the sales of Geely vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and growth within this portfolio. Excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills. Strong business acumen including strategic and operational planning. Strong financial acumen including experience with budgets and expense tracking. Process driven and proactive with strong initiative. Ability to meet deadlines and achieve set sales targets and profit margins. High levels of self-motivation, drive, and resilience Excellent problem-solving skills Strong sales negotiation skills Ability to build rapport and establish trust with internal and external customers. Proficient with DMS (Dealership Management System) and Microsoft Office suite Strong management and leadership experience including the ability to keep the team focused and motivated in a challenging work environment.
