Nobu is renowned for its Japanese-inspired cuisine, and joining their culinary team as a Commis Chef would be a fantastic experience. As a Commis Chef at Nobu, you’ll have the chance to learn from some of the best chefs in the business. Your responsibilities may include preparing and cooking food under the supervision of more experienced chefs and ensuring proper food storage. Attention to detail is crucial in creating exceptional dishes that delight guests.
In this role, you’ll provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests. As well as:
1. Work closely with team members across this team.
2. Assist senior chefs in food preparation.
3. Ensuring food is prepared up to standard.
About you
You’ll bring the following:
1. Specialty in Japanese cuisine – Mandatory
2. Prior experience in a similar role – Desirable.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role:
Certificate III & IV in Cookery
