Your new role
The Manager of Financial Services plays a pivotal role, responsible for delivering innovative and high-quality financial support and transaction management services. This position ensures that services are responsive to the organisation's needs while effectively managing processes, controls, and business risks. Core responsibilities include:
* Lead and manage the financial services team to effectively provide enterprise-wide financial services, including the Accounts Receivable and Payable processes, Corporate Credit Card Program and Expense Management, Cash Receipting system, and Reconciliations.
* Foster effective business partnering with key stakeholders.
* Ensure legal compliance and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
* Manage financial risk.
* Manage enterprise financial systems and business processes.
* Handle complex queries.
* Develop, implement, and monitor alternative service delivery methods.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will hold relevant qualifications and knowledge equating to substantial work experience in the leadership and hands-on management of financial accounting operations within a large, complex service delivery organisation. Other essential criteria:
* Successful record of identifying customer needs, developing service strategies, and providing quality customer service in a private or public sector environment.
* Demonstrated significant experience in business transformation projects in a large, complex service delivery organisation, drawing on a comprehensive understanding of business process re-engineering and change management principles, practices, and methodologies.
* Demonstrated experience in the delivery of innovative systems and processes to achieve cost efficiencies and operational excellence.
* Proven successful leadership and people management experience, including team management, conflict resolution, coaching, and development.
* High-level verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
