Our team of Psychologists and Psychiatrist are passionate about helping people reach their full potential and provide a confidential and safe space for children, adolescents, adults, and families to receive help with their psychological challenges and emotional needs.About the position :Our team is in search of an experienced reception and administration member to join our growing practice. This role is two to three days per week with the possibility of increasing to a full-time and/or practice manager position. This role will suit an experienced medical or psychology receptionist. You will be responsible for front desk reception, administration, and managing related duties.About You :We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, warm, and dynamic receptionist/admin officer who is motivated and ready to make a long-term commitment. If you are reliable, client-focused with excellent communication skills, then this is the right role for you. You will be an integral part of a thriving Psychology practice on the Gold Coast, working closely with our team to make a meaningful and long-lasting impact on our clients. You must be able to work independently and self-manage the variety of tasks in the role.You will be responsible for :Seated at our reception desk, you will be a friendly face and first point of contact for all arriving clients.Contribute to creating a welcoming, high-quality, private practice healthcare environment.Answer and manage phone lines and emails in an articulate, friendly, and professional manner, and be able to explain our services.Have a good understanding of the services offered, the interest areas of the psychologists, and the practice.Confidence in communicating effectively with clients, psychologists, and referrers such as GP’s, paediatricians, psychiatrists, and schools.Dynamic calendar management for multiple psychologists: Managing new and existing bookings, cancellations with accuracy and attention to detail.Process payments and address any billing concerns.Manage office supplies and ensure the reception and clinic area is tidy.Work closely with team members and take on additional duties where appropriate.To be successful in this role, you will be :Minimum 2 years of experience is a must in a similar admin and reception role.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Highly organised with strong attention to detail.Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.Experience with client relationship management software, including diary management, bookings, payments, and management of confidential information (Note: the practice currently uses Halaxy Management Software) desirable but not necessary.A genuine interest in health, mental well-being, and seeing people well again.Hours and days of work :Please note this position does not suit school hours only or working from home - our reception staff are required to be on site to manage clients arriving in person.What We Offer :Full Training: We will take you through what you need to know.Rewarding Working Environment: Meaningful work with a great team.Supportive Team: Work with our supportive team who will value your skills and contributions.Remuneration: Salary is based on the Health Professionals and Support Services Award, and will reflect your experience and skill in similar roles.How to apply :If this role sounds like what you have been looking for, email your resume and a brief cover letter explaining who you are and why this role could be a good fit for you.Please note that only those who are shortlisted will be contacted.
