Well-known for their quality products at affordable price points, they are continually growing and expanding their business.Position DescriptionThe Head of Planning will be responsible for managing the entire merchandise planning function of the business end to end, delivering a dynamic strategy to optimise inventory, increase sales and profit as well as grow market share. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a strong collaborator with stakeholders across the business that is commercially minded and can strategically look at how to manage inventory in both Australia and New Zealand, whilst managing a small team.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and implement seasonal merchandise plans for 100+ stores, across apparel, footwear and accessoriesAnalyse sales trends, historical data and market insights to make informed recommendations to the businessWork with the Heads of Retail and Marketing to effectively manage the seasonal promotional calendarOversee all stock allocations and consolidationsDevelop and evolve the merchandise planning strategy and management of inventory/stockMonitor and adjust sales forecasts based on market dynamicsManage the yearly budgeting process in conjunction with their Finance teamPartner with their Head of Product to maximise all sales opportunitiesWork cross functionally with Heads of Retail, Production and Product as well as shared services, warehousing and logistics, to optimise inventory at all levelsPartner with their Head of Operations to drive initiatives such as Ship from store, Click N collectOversee store and warehouse stocktakesDrive margin growth through agile and dynamic management of markdownsPartner with their production team to effectively manage core programmes and seasonal capacitiesCoach, manage and lead the Planning teamTo be successful within this role, you will have:3-5+ years' experience in Head of Planning/Planning Manager role, ideally within a high volume fashion retail environmentExcellent leadership and coaching abilitiesStrong ability to interpret data, analytics and retail sales trendsStrategic mindset with the ability to influence and guideStrong stakeholder engagement skillsCommercial acumen to drive business performanceBenefits and CultureCompetitive salary and bonus structureGenerous employee discountA collaborative and high performing team environmentCareer opportunities with ability to influence and growHow to ApplyIf this is of interest, apply now via the link.
