The Role:
National Supply Chain Lead
We are seeking an experienced National Supply Chain Lead to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity. Reporting directly to the National Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in developing and managing planning processes that enhance customer satisfaction and drive operational improvements across Sugar Australia and Wilmar Ingredients.
This role will primarily focus on driving systems and process improvements, especially within SAP, to lead the overhaul of our supply S&OP process. You will bring hands-on technical expertise and a strategic approach to implement changes, optimise supply chain operations, and ensure best practices are seamlessly integrated across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the development and management of effective supply and distribution plans to ensure customer satisfaction and cost-effectiveness for both Sugar Australia and Wilmar Ingredients.
* Identifying opportunities for improvement within the supply chain and leading projects that enhance efficiency and deliver measurable value to the business.
* Working closely with all Sugar Australia facilities to develop optimal manufacturing plans and ensuring effective communication and data sharing across teams.
* Acting as the S&OP lead, linking demand forecasts with operational plans to provide the lowest-cost service model.
* Driving the integration and standardisation of planning processes between Sugar Australia and Wilmar Ingredients, ensuring clarity and consistency across operations.
* Leading change management efforts to update supply chain processes and reporting standards.
* Providing leadership and mentorship to the supply chain team, promoting professional development and high performance.
Requirements:
* A tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
* A minimum of 10 years S&OP supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
* Background in food manufacturing or FMCG environment is desirable.
* Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced expertise in SAP, gained through recent roles, including hands-on experience with ECC and MRP systems.
* Strong focus on delivering against goals and maintaining high standards of performance.
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of internal and external customers.
* Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
