Your role will involve hands-on business analysis activities (around 25%) as well as establishing and maintaining business analysis frameworks and tools. You’ll also coach and mentor your team to ensure consistency and quality in the business requirements and supporting materials.You will:Ensure fit-for-purpose business analysis frameworks and tools as agreed with the Implementation stakeholders.Ensure consistent and high-quality business requirements are developed by the Business Analysts.Ensure workload is balanced across and aligned to skills and development needs for the Business Analysts.Ensure adequate resourcing and skills in the Business Analysis Team to support the Implementation Programme.Coach and mentor the Business Analysts to uplift their skills and ensure embedment of the agreed frameworks and tooling.Ensure strong and regular collaboration with the Test Leadership to ensure test plans and scripts are aligned with the Business Requirements.Ensure a requirements traceability matrix is developed and maintained.Liaise with key stakeholders to review and monitor effectiveness of tools, systems, methods, and standards to ensure consistency and quality of outcomes.Influence stakeholders on organisational priorities and deliverables, whilst establishing effective relationships to develop trust and ensure accurate information.Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, seeking feedback and input where required.Develop, manage, and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the Adecco ADF Careers contract.Candidate’s ProfileIf you have worked in a similar position or just looking for your next opportunity that will make an impact, we want to speak with you.Your background will demonstrate:Strong leadership and people management skills.Coaching and mentoring Business Analysts.Advanced expertise in business analysis frameworks and techniques.Leading a team of BAs (10 or more) in at least 3 complex programmes of value $50M or more in Federal Government or at the Enterprise Portfolio level.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.Strategic thinking with the ability to align business analysis activities to organisational goals.Problem-solving and analytical skills for complex business challenges.Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives.Proficiency in business analysis tools and software.Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field.To apply for this position, you must be an Australian citizen and have the ability to maintain an Australian AGSVA security clearance.How to applyIf eligible, please submit your resume; applications are open to all qualified Australian citizens regardless of their background, identity, experiences and beliefs.If you need assistance during our recruitment process, please email our friendly TA team for a confidential conversation.To apply for this position, please submit your application online through our designated platform.
