About the Role: We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role will focus specifically on hospital projects, where you will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing the installation of mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure that all projects meet the highest standards. Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical systems tailored for hospital environments, including HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate mechanical solutions into designs. Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and oversee installation and maintenance work. Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and safety protocols. Prepare detailed project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout planning. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the project lifecycle. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards. Liaise with hospital stakeholders to understand their specific needs and provide tailored mechanical solutions. Participate in project meetings and present progress reports to senior management and clients. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on hospital or healthcare projects. Proficiency in engineering design software (Revit). Strong understanding of regulations and standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Experience in project management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
