To work with us, you have a positive, authentic, inclusive personality which you bring to work with you every day.The Role:These roles will support the delivery of community-based support in the mental health space.Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Providing support to participants in the mental health community outreach services, to improve their independence by assisting with living skills, transport, social activities, medication runs as well as other supports as required. Keeping customer records up to date using online systems. Developing and maintaining professional relationships with people, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders. Completing risk assessments, support plans, and other required documents in a timely manner.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you should be: Punctual, friendly, outgoing, non-judgmental, flexible, persistent, empathetic, practical, balanced, compassionate, and warm. Invested in providing the highest quality in mental health services to the community. Competent in working with people living with mental health challenges.What You Need: Appropriate certificate level qualification in Mental Health or Community Services, or equivalent relevant experience in the human services industry. Experience in the mental health and community sector, with strong knowledge of services, block funded mental health programs, NDIS, and understanding of person-centered practices. Current police check. Valid NSW Drivers C class licence, with the ability to drive vehicles in licence class. Valid first aid certificate. NDIS Workers Check. WWCC. Basic skills in Microsoft Office and other common systems.
