Team Lead (Cleaning and Trolley Collection) - Woolworths Horsham

This is a full-time salaried role and is best suited to an individual with flexible availability to work across early mornings, days, late nights, and weekends.
What you’ll do
As a Team Leader, you’ll lead and develop a team, ensuring that all cleaning and trolley collection tasks are completed to a high standard:
1. Coach and train your team, developing their skills in trolley collection, cleaning and waste support.
2. Create a roster for your team to ensure that all daily tasks and operations are covered.
3. Work with the Store Leadership teams to identify challenges, areas of opportunity and upcoming priorities.
4. Develop succession plans through coaching to increase team productivity and improve overall satisfaction.
5. Complete time and attendance activities for your team members, such as tracking hours, managing absences, and ensuring compliance with company policy.
6. Order all consumables for your stores, such as cleaning supplies, and maintain these within a budget.
7. In addition to your regular duties, you will spend some of your time working as part of the Proactive Services Team, providing cleaning, trolley collection and waste management services.
What you’ll bring
1. Flexibility to work in different environments such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers and carparks.
2. A good eye for cleanliness and small details.
3. Physical fitness is essential for this role, as it involves physically demanding tasks.
4. The ability to work with other Department Managers and the Store Leadership Team to plan and coordinate routines and timeframes.
5. You need to be organised to make sure your team has all the equipment and supplies they need to work safely and efficiently.
6. Comfortable working with a regulated framework (Food Safety, industrial regulations, code of conducts etc).
7. A valid full Australian drivers licence (Green P’s or full licence) is essential as you may collect trolleys using our vehicles.
