Job Description The Senior Manager - Infrastructure will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the company's infrastructure environments, across two data centres, and five locations throughout Australia. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background across data centre operations, HP Infrastructure, Cisco and Aruba networking, F5 load balancing and associated VPN, Citrix, and operating systems. Your knowledge of Cyber policies, controls and compliance is critical as the interface into our Cyber teams. Managing End of Life Risks, and technical debt is the basis of the job function. The Senior Manager will be responsible for ensuring that infrastructure projects are planned, executed, and delivered on time and within budget. They will work closely with the Head of Tech Partners, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to ensure the seamless integration and operation of infrastructure systems. This role demands excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to navigate the complexities of digital infrastructure initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the company's infrastructure environments across multiple data centres and locations. Develop and implement strategic plans for infrastructure operations and improvements. Ensure the seamless integration and operation of various infrastructure systems including HP Infrastructure, Cisco and Aruba networking, F5 load balancing, VPN, Citrix, and operating systems. Interface with Cyber teams to ensure compliance with cyber policies, controls, and regulations. Manage end-of-life risks and technical debt mitigation strategies. Plan, execute, and deliver infrastructure projects on time and within budget. Collaborate with the other business units, cross-functional teams, and external vendors. Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Identify and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and eIective manner. Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure processes, policies, and standards. Competencies: Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve project goals. Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers. Qualifications 10 years of experience managing infrastructure within an on premise environment. Strong knowledge of Infrastructure on Prem environments, particularly VMWare and the F5 product sets. Experience in cyber security, including cyber testing and security compliance. Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance. Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
