Topsmak a well-known bakery among the local Sydney people, who especially thrive for traditionally-made bakery items. We are doing Traditional Sour Dough Rye Bread and Patisserie wholesale production.
We are currently seeking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Qualified Baker/ASSISTANT BAKER with a minimum of two years of experience to work for our bakery, located in Liverpool. You will join a small team and it will be a great platform to start your career from here.
This role is for FULL TIME/PART TIME position and immediate start is required.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Baker
· Ensuring all baking equipment and premises is clean prior to and post production of any baked items begins to ensure compliance with OH&S.
· Operating bakery machinery such as bread moulders, bread dividers, pastry sheeters and rack oven.
· Learning about food safety standards.
· Maintaining a high level of safety.
· Checking the quality and weight of ingredients.
· Kneading, mixing and shaping dough to produce bread and pastries.
· Coordinating the baking process of bread and pastries.
· Glazing and decorating pastries and cakes.
· Packaging and labelling wholesale breads.
Requirements:
· preferred a Baking course certification or at least doing the course.
· Minimum of two years of experience in baking.
You will receive ongoing training and development·
· You should have ability to work without supervision after the probationary period.
· Good Team work and communication skill is essential.
· Usually the shifts will start in the afternoon between Monday to Friday.
· Driving Licence is preferable..
· Need to work on some public holiday.
· Should have rights to work and live in Australia.
