: As a key member of the Education ICT Access Team, the Access Rights Officer serves as the liaison between Education Directorate clients, DDTS technical teams, project teams, and vendors.
This role supports the creation and transfer of user accounts, mailbox creation and modification, and the provision of folder access permissions to network drives.
These account management activities are conducted in response to requests from the Education Directorate, Education Support Office, and ACT Public Schools.
The Access Rights Officer is responsible for offering expert advice and guidance on account access, ensuring consistent service delivery by prioritising, managing, and executing workflows. This role supports the team in achieving its deliverables within an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
The position reports directly to the Assistant Manager, ICT Education Directorate.

Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
