Location: North Ryde, New South Wales, AU, 2113 Genomic Diagnostics is the national genomics laboratory for Healius Pathology. We provide comprehensive genomic testing, spanning reproductive health, inherited disease, and pharmacogenomics to an extensive network of public and private hospitals and community referrers across Australia. Our primary focus is to provide high quality and timely genomic information to assist in diagnosis and clinical decision-making. The Role Reporting into the Sales Manager - Genomics, the Genomics Sales Specialist will be responsible for executing the Sales & Marketing strategies for the Genomic Diagnostics product range. By establishing strong relationships with Specialists & KOLs within your allocated territory, the key objectives of your role will be to execute your territory business plan to achieve the set commercial revenue target, drive business development, and grow brand awareness of Genomic Diagnostics. Key Responsibilities Deliver outstanding service to capture new and retain existing referrers in line with the territory plan and Genomic Diagnostic strategies. Manage and develop current referrer relationships, whilst delivering on current sales & marketing strategies. Perform market research and identify new opportunities to grow business/revenue through current and new referrers. Collaborate effectively with the State Revenue Team to drive and create new revenue opportunities. Regular face-to-face sales meetings with doctors. Utilise consultative selling skills to identify customer needs and to deliver versatile, unique solutions during sales calls. Record daily activities in the Salesforce CRM tool. Minimum of 5 years' sales experience in the Healthcare/Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical Industries. Current Drivers Licence is essential. Demonstrated sales experience with a history of achieving and surpassing sales targets in healthcare. Proficient computer literacy in applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and CRM tools (Salesforce). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport quickly.
