Rapid7 is seeking a curious, customer-centric and result-driven Account Executive to join the ANZ sales team in Western Australia.
This role involves all aspects of new customer acquisition across the territory, contributing to the growth of this region.
About the Role
Due to increased demand, we are looking to hire an Enterprise Account Executive in Perth.
* Develop and manage all of Western Australia accounts across public and private sector.
* Responsible for lead generation, building relationships with prospective customers, account profiling, and developing the prospective customer into a revenue-generating customer.
* Position Rapid7 platform and MDR services to assigned territory.
* Proven solution sales experience in identifying market size and focus; developing sales pipeline; penetrating new accounts and driving the sales process.
* Ability to multi-task numerous sales cycles simultaneously while ensuring revenue goals are achieved.
* Meet or exceed quarterly/annual sales quota.
* Develop and manage pipeline, providing weekly updates to forecast.
* Ensure the provision of appropriate business information for decision-making and control.
* Negotiate contracts, up-sell, build customer rapport, and assist with adoption.
* Provide appropriate sales tracking and reporting as required leveraging Salesforce.com and Clari.
* Represent Rapid7 at external events, including industry events.
* Navigate channel and MSSP partners and effectively collaborate to grow assigned territory business.
* Manage and respond to RFPs, working with internal stakeholders within and outside of Australia.
About You
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a New Business Sales role within the Cyber Security industry.
* Ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of solution selling.
* A track record of consistent performance and outstanding target achievement in a New Business Development role.
* Brings existing relationships at Technology Management level within government or public sector customers.
* Past experience working in Western Australia is a must.
* An entrepreneurial spirit by which you will own and drive your own business in the region.
