The role involves both business development and recruitment delivery, with the objective of securing high-caliber talent for clients within the engineering design consultancy sector.
This role contributes to Brunel's broader strategy by growing the client base, strengthening relationships, and ensuring successful placements in line with organizational goals.

Key Accountabilities: Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the engineering design consultancy market.
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients to ensure continuous collaboration.
Conduct market research to identify potential growth areas and generate leads.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing ongoing recruitment needs and maintaining high service levels.
Ensure compliance with existing client agreements, facilitating regular reviews and feedback processes to assess performance.
Work closely with clients to understand their recruitment needs and provide tailored solutions.
Recruitment and Placement: Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, from client job briefing to candidate placement and follow-up.
Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring alignment with both client requirements and cultural fit.
Provide consultative advice to clients on market conditions, talent availability, and recruitment best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, including business development, administration, and marketing, to ensure cohesive support of client objectives.
Maintain effective communication with candidates and clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Market and Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with trends in the engineering design consultancy and infrastructure sectors.
Provide market intelligence to clients, helping them stay informed about changes in the labour market, salary trends, and competitor activity.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client and candidate activities using the organization's CRM and recruitment systems.
Provide regular reports on desk performance, including business development activities, placements, and revenue forecasts.

Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the engineering, design consultancy, or infrastructure sectors.
Demonstrated success in business development, including securing new clients and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, with a focus on permanent placements in technical roles.
Excellent relationship management skills, with proven experience building and maintaining client and candidate networks.
Experience using recruitment CRM systems for documentation and tracking.
Work Conditions: Standard office hours with flexible working options available.
Hybrid work with remote work on Fridays.
Regular client meetings and occasional travel within Queensland may be required.
