The role can be based in Clayton, VIC, or Padstow, NSW.This role provides leadership, strategic direction, and ongoing coaching to build an engaged, committed, and accountable internal team whilst building strong, productive, and sustainable business relationships with the IHG Team. The role also works in close partnership with the Selleys field team to maximise and drive field sales effectiveness and the DuluxGroup-wide merchandising team of 170+ people.Key to your success in this role is your ability to leverage your strong account and category management skills whilst relying on your established and effective working relationships with key stakeholders. You will create quality and impactful presentations and showcase your analytical ability by owning the sales data, including accurate forecasting.As well as your commercial ability, you thrive on building personal connections that turn into positive business outcomes; this role provides great exposure and the opportunity to grow your career with DuluxGroup into the future. You'll have the ownership and support you need to succeed, both from your leaders and your colleagues.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the team to deliver commercial objectives including sales value, sales volume, share growth, and profit targets.Develop, internally align, and execute the IHG & Paint Specialists strategy to achieve business objectives.Build and maintain a clear rolling forecast in partnership with supply planners whilst maintaining models and trackers to inform the forecast.Lead our approach to key account planning, category reviews, and sales cycle planning.Deliver win/win customer solutions that make Selleys the supplier of choice.Build and maintain a purposeful safe work culture within the team.Be a strong, positive, and productive member of the Commercial Leadership Team.Skills & ExperienceBusiness Degree in Commerce, Marketing, or Finance.Significant sales leadership, account management, and marketing experience in retail and/or hardware industry.Ability to analyse and interpret data to identify commercial drivers and forecasts.Strong people leadership, coaching, and management with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.Strategic operator with a track record of follow-through and delivery.High customer service orientation with strong influencing and negotiating skills.How to apply:We are looking to speak with you ASAP, please apply online!
