Store Manager - Lead a People-First Supermarket in the Heart of the Community!

About the Role
As Store Manager, you will take charge of daily operations across every aspect of this supermarket, from rostering to customer service and stock control. You will lead a team of up to 30, ensuring high standards in customer experience, product availability, and store presentation. The role requires a flexible, dedicated approach, stepping up when required and treating the business as your own.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee store operations with a focus on people, community, and quality service
* Full profit and loss accountability, managing all department costs, including wastage, wages, and operational expenses
* Create an excellent customer experience by coaching, training, and mentoring your team
* Take a hands-on approach to shrinkage control, stock management, and food safety compliance
* Flexibility to cover shifts when needed, leading the store as though it were your own
What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have proven in independant supermarket experience as this role requires a hands-on approach beyond that of a typical supermarket manager. You are a positive leader who fosters a welcoming, efficient, and community-focused store environment.
* Supermarket Management experience, ideally in community-focused supermarkets
* Leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide a team of up to 30 people
* Ability to plan rosters within a set budget, with a keen eye on shrinkage and stock control
* A forklift license (preferred) and capability in managing stock and shrinkage
* Police clearance and a commitment to maintaining integrity and community values
