The Role Toll People are preparing for our peak season and are looking for highly skilled and professional HR, HC & MC Drivers to join our team for casual and ongoing positions in the Newcastle & Singleton (Hunter) areas. Looking for drivers for an immediate start who have a strong commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions Ensure correct, secure and safe loading of vehicles Complete and supply mandatory run sheet information in the format required Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times Comply with all WHS regulations and driving hour legislation Skills & Experience Hold a current HR, HC or MC Licence Willing to work any shift including early morning, day and afternoon shifts Ability to drive a range of trucks with various transmissions Multi-drop, bulk drop and linehaul experience Experience with load restraints Forklift Licence desirable Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Have experience driving trucks for over 2 years Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and good numeracy skills Benefits Opportunities to work with Toll - a transport industry leader Great pay rates Well maintained vehicles On the job training and support Ongoing and flexible roles available About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
